A picture of Meghan Markle was deleted from Instagram after she stepped out at the British Fashion Awards last week.
The pregnant star was presenting an award at the ceremony and quickly slipped back into her Hollywood persona, as she posed for snaps in the photo booth with fellow celebs.
However, it’s not very royal and apparently courtiers demanded that the Instagram picture of the Duchess was taken down.
The Fashion Council shared a picture which was taken backstage alongside Clare Waight Keller, her wedding dress designer and actress Rosamund Pike.
The women were posing for the photo booth style snap with Meghan’s hand resting on her baby bump as she looked over her shoulder.
According to MailOnline, a source said that the pose was ‘ostentatious’ and with her daring dress and dark nail polish it was breaking a lot of royal fashion rules.
And apparently Meghan may have asked herself for the picture to be taken down in case it upset the Queen.
That’s not the only way Meghan is shaking up royal traditions, as her husband, Prince Harry is reportedly not taking part in the traditional St Stephen’s Day Hunt.
He doesn’t want to upset Meghan who is staunchly anti-hunting, which is fair enough!
He didn’t go pheasant hunting last year, so he’s changed his mind about the bloodsport! And maybe it’s time to shake up these antiquated traditions…
